I don't go to the movies much ...presently, averaging once a year, a family movie usually near Christmas time. Though, the movie we go to is not a Christmas movie ...as I don't usually think they depict Christmas the way I celebrate it.
Yes, our family movie was Star Wars ...not much in the spirit of Christmas either. Yet, our children do understand the real battle of principalities and powers ...the struggle between good & evil.
The powers of evil don't effectively begin with outright evident wickedness ...but, often originates out of immoral standards which too often are not even considered immoral, dare say ...evil.
How do we define immorality??
The dictionary's first listing tells us that immorality is that which is not in conformity with accepted principles of right & wrong.
So, wouldn't we also have to define 'right & wrong'??
Is it what is right & wrong for a large group of people, perhaps a nation??
Is it what is right or wrong for a certain culture??
How about a community of people??
Or would it be merely what is viewed as right & wrong for each and every separate individual?? And does that allow for a different meaning for each individual??
It seems that in the eyes of many individuals, it is solely what they believe is right & wrong.
